I peeled potatoes, onions and put roast and carrots in the crockpot. I borrowed one of Judy's crockpots as I didn't think I could get it all in only one as the one I have with me is pretty small. I cleaned strawberries and cut them up with sugar to put on top of the tapioca pudding that I made for dessert. I put a salad together and pretty much had dinner ready for tonight. Jan called and asked if I wanted to go to the used book store today. I have a number of paperbacks that I need to turn in so got myself ready and walked over to their place. I also had a package to mail to Leslie and Judy had a package to mail as well so we went to the post office. Stopped at Walgreens and then Judy and Jan told me I was going back to the Urgent Care to see the doctor again. I said to just take me home and I'd bring my car over so they did not have to waste their time setting in the waiting room. They insisted they were taking me so we went into the clinic and actually got in fairly soon. When the doctor came in I told him I had no improvement on my situation and that I was still coughing so bad it was making me nauseated and giving me headache's. He decided to give me a steroid shot and another shot of another antibiotic. He called in a new prescription for a stronger antibiotic and more steroid nose spray. He told me to continue taking the Mucinex 2X daily as well. We left the doctor's office and went over to the book store and by then they were closed for the day! Judy insisted she was going to go back to Walgreen's to get my new prescription before we went home. I was so tired, I would have rather come home and sent Larry to get prescription later. We waited for about 20 minutes to get prescription and finally headed home. It was 4:30 when we got home and Ken and Larry had been drinking beer all afternoon. Ken went home and they came back around 6:30 for dinner. We had a wonderful meal as the roast were great. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the meal. I fixed two loaves of hot bread and we all had plenty to eat. Jan and Judy brought fresh fruit and yogurt dip and I had the tapioca pudding with the fresh strawberries. We all felt like we were going to explode for all the food. They stayed until about 10:00 and we had a great visit. We laugh so much when we are all together. I'm really going to miss them when we all leave here.
