Sunday March 3 2013

Relaxed for a good portion of the morning but decided I could only put my laundry off for so long. I started working on it around 10:30 and didn't finish until about 8:30. I washed a couple extra items like some rugs, etc. It did not get very hot today and was overcast most of the day. Didn't upset me at all. It was pretty comfortable in the motor home until around 3:30 and then started to get a little warm but still no air conditioning today. Larry paid our electric bill for the month of February and it was $80. Couldn't believe it was that much as that is not much less than what we pay at home for 4 times the amount of space. I'm pretty sure that the cloth's dryer is what runs up the electric bill here. Larry said we should start taking the wet laundry to the Laundromat here in the resort and I told him to knock himself out. I am not packing wet laundry anywhere and that is why I have a washer and dryer in the motor home. The QUEEN has spoken!!! Taylor called this afternoon and I had only talked about 10 minutes when Judy knocked on the door. I told her to come in and I'd be off the phone soon. She said she would talk to her boyfriend (Larry) outside until I finished. I talked awhile longer and made plans to 'Face time' with Taylor and the girls later. Larry then talked to her while Judy and I visited. Jan is home with a migraine headache. Last Sunday Judy had a migraine all day so told her they needed to lay off the alcohol! Ha! Did I mentioned, Judy only drinks rarely so that is not the problem! I do believe it's all the dust and pollen in the air here. I have such horrible allergy problems every year as soon as we arrive in Arizona. There are lots of dessert flowers in bloom currently and each week I see more so I'm sure that is what kicks my allergies into action. When Judy left, I started dinner so we could be done in time for our 'Face time' call with the girls. We had just finished cleaning up kitchen when they called. It was so great to see them all. Addison was 'Miss Shy' tonight and would hardly talk with us. Morgan started piano lessons Saturday so she had to play two songs for us. Her great grandma Gloria bought them a huge keyboard for Christmas. Taylor had talked to the piano teacher to find out what kind to buy for Morgan to use for lessons, sometime before Christmas. Addison is wanting to take lessons on violin as Mrs. Bear, her kindergarden teacher teaches violin. Morgan tried taking violin lessons and it didn't work out well because she didn't want to practice. I told Taylor that I thought Addison would be more attentive but Taylor thinks maybe Piano might be easier since Morgan's already taking lessons. We saw Molly, the dog they got for Christmas. I cannot believe how much the dog has grown since Christmas. She is an English Golden Retriever and already weighs 30 lbs. Taylor took Molly running with her for the first time today and said the dog actually walked and kept up with her running because she has such long legs! If Molly keeps growing they will have to buy a different vehicle to transport her in as I'm sure the Prius will soon be out grown! Leslie also called today but I missed her call when I was talking to Taylor. I tried to call her back but no answer. I was sorry to miss her call but we talk to Taylor so rarely, I didn't want to cut her off. Was good to see my grand baby's, even though they are no longer baby's! They are growing up much too quickly!
