Our neighbor, whom we call Rebel's dad(he has a beautiful huge dog named Rebel) left this morning for home. He is probably close to 78 yrs old and lives in New York. His son flew into Yuma Sunday to drive him home pulling his 5th wheel. He is a boat builder and owns a boat yard in upstate New York but neither of his sons are part of the business. He says it's too much work and too many hours for them to work for him. I believe his name is actually Hank and he is a very funny guy and in great shape. Rebel, his dog, is a very obediant dog and follows him everywhere he goes and is very friendly with everyone.
Cleaned around the RV and then went into Yuma to exchange some items and to get a haircut. The weather was really getting quite warm by the time we left so turned the air conditioner on again today! I know we are going to be shocked at the electric bill tomorrow when we leave.
Taylor called and also sent us a couple of videos of both Morgan and Addison skiing. Addison is really taking to the hills and goes like a 'bat out of hell' down the ski slopes. She was doing her turns when she started at the top of the slope but ended up going straight down and downing a snowplow by the end of the video. Morgan has really become a good skier as this is about her 3rd year skiing. They leave tomorrow afternoon and are driving to Salt Lake City, which is about 45 minutes south of the ski resort. They will stay in Salt Lake tomorrow night and catch a late afternoon flight back to Chicago on Wednesday. Sounds like they have all had a very good time on the trip.
