Jan called and asked if I wanted to go for a manicure and pedicure with them this morning. I got my shower and we all left at 10:00 to go over to the nail place in the foothills. We got wonderful pedicures and I got a gel manicure. After we finished, we all went over to Frye's and had Chinese food for lunch. After we ate we went to the hardware store as the gals wanted potting soil and then we stopped at the used book store. I'm glad I did not bring my paperbacks to turn in as the lady does not pay much for them. I bought two books and it was $8. Don't think I will be visiting this place much as I can buy new books for that price. When we started back to the resort, they had the frontage road torn apart to blacktop. We had to get onto RT 8 and come in from the other side of the resort to get home. The road was a mess and I'll be surprised if Judy did not pick something else up in her tire from driving through it all. Ken was drinking beer with Larry again and when he went home, I fixed dinner. After we ate Cynthia and Doris came over and sat outside to visit. We were parked by them last year and Cynthia works for the resort as security. Jan and Judy came back over later and stayed fairly late. They have decided to leave on Saturday for home and they are really sad to be leaving. We are planning to leave next Wednesday on the 27th and go to California for awhile before heading home. From the weather forecast at home, I'm not sure we want to head back to the midwest soon. It appears Illinois is going to get slammed with another snow storm this weekend.
