Dan asked Larry if he wanted to go to the car show today so he came by about 10:00 to get Larry. I decided to go into Yuma to the flea market held in the parking lot of the mall. This is where we buy our tomatoes from the guy from Summerton, AZ. His tomatoes are to die for and the only ones that are worth bringing home.
Before I went to the market, I stopped at Sally's Beauty Supply and Walmart. Went on to the mall and got my produce and then to Kohl's to return some items. I took a little time and looked around the mall since I don't get much time when Larry's with me. I had the GPS and had planned to try to find a few more of the art displays on my way home but was getting late and I assumed Larry would be home so I came on back. I think I beat him and Dan home by almost 2 hours. I was upset that I didn't go to more of the displays.
I bought paints and a few brushes last week and have been working on a picture for Jan, Judy and Ken and also one for Hank, our neighbor who gave me one of his dessert flower animals that he makes. When I was at Nancy's Art Studio on Friday, I bought some glazing gel from her as Michaels does not have it. It really helps with blending the oils when painting. It is so dry here that the oils get very dry in between times I work on them. I pretty much have Jan, Judy and Ken's painting finished but still have a bit to do on Hanks.
Dan dropped Larry off and said he and Wanda might stop back for a beer later. Wanda has been sick with something, kinda like flu. She and I were going to go to Mexico this past week but because she hasn't felt well, decided to forget it.
