The weekend was cool and rainy and we didn't do much. Saturday I decided to return the acrylic paints I bought and buy the water mixable oils the lady told me about on Friday. I came home and painted off and on Sat and Sun. Wanda and Dan Nelson, friends from B.C. that were parked next to us last year stopped over and we sat outside and had drinks. They stayed about 2 hours and had a really nice time. We made plans to go over where they have their RV Parked on Tuesday and then go out for dinner.
This morning we walked with Ken, Judy and Jan and then showered and left to run errands. We spent most of the day in Yuma and came home about 3:30. We had a big lunch at Olive Garden and as we were bringing in our groceries Jan came over to ask if we wanted to go with the to Lin's, the Chinese Restaurant for dinner. We both kinda groned as we were so full from lunch. We finally told her we would go and would pick them up around 6:00.
We all went into Yuma and were able to get right into Lin's to eat. They are always so busy there are people standing outside waiting. We all ate too much and were miserable when we got home. We sat out on our patio for awhile and then Jan and Judy said we were going to go get Bev, another friend in the park and go to Pat's to steal one of her outside urns and take it back to Bev's. This was to be a joke because this morning we told Bev she needed something more to set in front of her park model. We picked up Bev and all snuck over to Pats and when we got there the blinds were barely closed and we could see her in kitchen doing dishes. We kept it very quite and took the urn to carry back to Bev's. The stupid thing was so heavy it took all four of us to carry it and we kept having to set it down for awhile to rest. I thought sure we were going to drop and break it before we got it back to Bev's. We went in for awhile to rest and have a drink and we were laughing thinking about Pat noticing it was missing tomorrow.
Came back to our place and sat to talk for awhile and were still laughing about how upset Pat was going to be when she noticed it was gone. We have to go to Mexico early tomorrow morning so I will miss the big uproar no doubt.
