Today was a 'kick back' day. The only thing I plan to do is laundry.


I started  the laundry about 8:30 and decided to make a trip to the Post Office to mail Cathy's package, which I've been needing to do for the past week. I went to the Post Office and found Walgreen's so I could refill a prescription. I turned in prescription as the pharmacy was not busy so she said if I wanted to wait, they could fill in about 20 minutes. I looked around the store waiting  for them to page me that the prescription was ready. I decided the they must be speaking of 20 MEXICAN minutes as after 45 minutes it still was not ready! This is what I so enjoy about Walgreen's--you can never get a prescription filled in less than 2 days! I waited for awhile longer and I finally went back to window to check on WHEN it  would be ready. By this time there were 10 people waiting in line at the pharmacy. I was just going to tell the pharmacist that I would come back later to pick up and right away they were ready to fill it. I just get crazy with Walgreen's and if we did not travel so much would move my prescriptions to a small pharmacy where they care about customer service!


Drove back to the resort and stopped to check our mailbox. We received a package that Leslie mailed last week. It had the remainder of Larry's prescription med's that we have been trying to track for the past month. He has to order his med's from Medico and they did not come in mail before we left home. We checked with the Post Office several time's trying to find out what happened to them. They told us 3 weeks ago that when they tried to deliver to our home address there was a mail forwarding already on file so it came back to Post Office. We called the Post Office 2 more times trying to find it and finally half of the order was delivered to Leslie's address so she mailed it out to us. About 5 days later the remainder of the order was delivered, so today we received the other half of order that  Leslie forwarded.


The weather today was a little strange. It was overcast most of the day and a little windy at times. I sat outside about 3:00pm and finally it was warm enough without a jacket. From the forecast, it is to be overcast and we are to get rain on Wednesday . We still have not planned our trip to San Diego but not sure this will be the best week to go as far as the weather is concerned.


I finished the laundry around 4:00 and made up hamburgers for the grill. I used our new grilling sauce that we bought Saturday at the flea market. The hamburgers were very juicy and the sauce gave them a great flavor.
